Many members and friends have told us of problems the have trying pay or donate with their credit card through PayPal.
The problem is now over!
Effective immediately, you can use your credit card by selecting Credit Card from the dropdown "Payment Method" menu. You no longer be directed to PayPal or other system. Your transaction will be handled within the Historical Society website*.
When you select Credit Card as the means of payment, the screen will immediately change allowing you to enter your card information directly, including the CVC code found on the backs of most cards. You also have an option of storing your card information for future transactions but it is not required and, as you can see, the default answer is "No".
We take your concerns seriously and trust that you will find paying dues, Bookstore purchases, event registrations, and making donations easier and more efficient from now on.
