I am pleased to inform the Board that the resubmission of our application for a trademark for "Moll Dyer Day" has been approved by the US Patent and Trade Office to be published January 9th. After publication, there is a 90-day window to allow challenges.
Thank you for agreeing to move forward with this. Though good news, please recall that I have absented myself from direct, visible involvement in next year's celebration. As a result, the Historical Society is currently unrepresented in the planning being done for 2024 by the Town, County, and LBA.
